1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Gold Star Community Support Foundation Inc. website at goldstarcommunityfoundation.org (the "Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Site.
2. About the Foundation
Gold Star Community Support Foundation Inc. is a Florida nonprofit organization based in the Tampa Bay Area, dedicated to supporting veterans, military families, and Gold Star families through workforce development, mentorship, and community resources.
3. Use of the Site
You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with these Terms. You may not use the Site to harass, threaten, or infringe on the rights of others, or to interfere with the operation of the Site.
4. Donations and Refunds
Donations made through the Site are processed by Zeffy, our third-party donation platform. All donations are subject to Zeffy's terms and refund policy, available at zeffy.com. Donations are considered final unless explicitly stated otherwise. Once 501(c)(3) status is confirmed, contributions may be tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Please consult your tax advisor.
5. Intellectual Property
All content on the Site, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of Gold Star Community Support Foundation Inc. or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark laws.
6. Third-Party Links and Services
The Site uses third-party services including Zeffy (donations), Stripe (payment processing via Zeffy), Resend (form notifications), and Vercel (hosting and analytics). The Site may also link to external websites. We are not responsible for the content or practices of third-party services or websites.
7. Limitation of Liability
The Site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gold Star Community Support Foundation Inc. is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflicts of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or use of the Site shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Florida.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date above will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
